Personality: Ven is generally a friendly person and he takes well to people, he communicates easily considering he liked to isolate himself a lot in his kid and teen years; however, he has a destructive and a somewhat fickle temper that only rears its head occasionally but can often be seen in small quantities, like having a lot of patience with one thing while losing it with another. The strange behavior probably came from his years as a Team Magma member where he was most at turmoil with his emotions and didn't exactly know who he was.
He doesn't joke much, but he does keep a softer tone to most everything he does, except for battles which are usually serious.

Backstory: Raised in a little orphanage in Slateport he was often told about his mom, a teen mother who hadn't the slightest care in the world about giving him up. Being a small kid, Ven was often teased and bullied for his hair, height, eyes, the usual bully material. Ven learned to isolate himself from everyone pretty quickly until he found the orphanage bullies picking on a city mutt (electrike) he quickly came to the pokemon's rescue and soon befriended him, although he couldn't bring his new found friend into the orphanage the two became inseparable and Ven started to use Kronos' power to the fullest taking advantage of his power he became somewhat of a bully himself.

At 16 Ven was approached by a Magma gang member who saw his potential and aimed to recruit. Ven agreed wholeheartedly under the impression that he wouldn't amount to anything without this opportunity. Being assigned a partner and a recruitment pokemon Ven soon fell under the order of his superiors without much though, as Ven moved up the ranks he started to get more distant from his comrades and pushed his partner away.

At 21 he left Team Magma suddenly and without telling anyone, his partner (and assumed lover) went after him out of anger and he's been running from her ever since, He met Kaden while visiting his town and has been traveling with him in the previous years.

Pokémon: Manectric
Nickname: Kronos
Gender: Male
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Lightning Rod
Bio: Wandered down into Slateport at a young, age he grew up as a city pup scavenging for food and stealing scraps, he often took a lot of beating from many different people, he met Ven when a few bullies decided to pick on him, Ven came to his rescue and in return Kronos became utterly loyal and happily did as Ven wished him too even if that meant hurting others, Ven started to call him Kronos after the Titan leader known to be the father of the God of Lightning (Zues of course).

Kronos loves other dog pokemon, especially smaller dog pokemon, he tends to father them and will often look out for them even if they are strangers.

Relationship with Ven: Kronos accompanied Ven through his life as a magma member and despite being hyperactive and usually happy Kronos was obedient and did as his master pleased, unlike most of Ven's pokemon, Kronos has never been tortured or put in 'disciplinary classes' since it was never needed.

Relationship with Kaden: Kronos absolutely loves Kaden and will always try to play with or cuddle him, he will listen to Kaden just like he listens to Ven and considers him another master.

Nickname: Coeus
Gender: Male
Nature: Serious
Ability: Early Bird
Bio: A houndour was given to Ven upon his arrival at the Magma base by his assigned partner, He was already well trained by the time Ven got him and obeyed Ven without hesitation as his training taught him to do, Ven was and still is unsure how Coeus ended up in the custody of team magma and he isn't familiar with the training that Coeus had undergone. After leaving Team Magma Coeus had shown his first bout of rebelliousness but quickly abandoned the notion due to his training having taught loyalty to the master he was placed under he still follows every exact order given to him by Ven, but it is possible that Coeus didn't fully trust him (or anyone) for a long time.

With Kronos loving other dogs Coeus often gets the bulk of his affection, however Coeus shows a bit of a cold shoulder toward him being opposites in demeanor and having clashing movesets he doesn't get on with Kronos well.

Relationship with Ven: There is a tiny wall between them in that Ven wishes to open him up more now that he isn't in Magma and Coeus being 'made to serve' doesn't do much unless he is ordered to.

Relationship with Kaden: Coeus tolerates Kaden as he tolerates all of the other pokemon in Ven's team, Ven has given command that Coeus listen to Kaden as he does with Ven (unless it clashes with something Ven told him to do)

Nickname: Tethys
Gender: Female
Nature: Gentle
Ability: Torrent
Bio: Caught as an Empoleon when Ven and his partner visited Sinnoh, Ven saw her as a good addition to his team and caught her with quite a bit of fight on her part, Ven soon learned that despite being gentle she was very resistant to follow anyone else's will but her own, and while most of the time her will agreed with Ven's they clashed at first; because of this Tethys was placed in a 'disciplinary class' but was removed a short while later after showing much potential, Ven gained her trust over time and he is the only one she trusts enough to take orders from.

Tethys is a bit stuck up and sees herself higher than most people, let alone pokemon, She doesn't involve herself in fights unless Ven wishes her to.

Relationship with Ven: He is the only one who she trusts completely and is the only one who can get under her superiority complex.

Relationship with Kaden: She doesn't care much for Kaden, she has nothing against him, rather she doesn't see him as any of her concern, she helps Ven teach Kaden how to swim along with Kaden's Gorebyss, Neptune.

Nickname: Iapetus (I Know it says "Lapetus, it's a typo, I can't fix it now ;n; )
Gender: Male
Nature: Impish
Ability: Levitate
Bio: He was captured by Magma and taken in as a Gastly and was the first and only pokemon Ven had tortured, the session had gone completely wrong forcing the pokemon to go completely unhinged, Ven ended up taking the pokemon into his team as a reminder of the day he'd gone horribly wrong and out of guilt for making Iapetus the way he is. Iapetus was probably the push that made Ven leave Magma.

Iapetus is unpredictable and very playful, he is incredibly mad but friendly, it doesn't take much to please him, he likes to pull pranks.

Relationship with Ven: Iapetus doesn't see Ven as responsible, in fact it's quite possible that he doesn't remember anything up to or during the torture session, Ven holds himself personally responsible but doesn't know how to portray it or even adress it. Iapetus can occasionally disregard Ven's orders only due to the fact that he's wandered off into his own little world to pull a prank on someone.

Nickname: Hyperion
Gender: Male
Nature: Bold
Ability: Chlorophyll
Bio: Came into Ven's team out of a basic 'disciplinary class' and became the unfortunate punching bag thanks to a fight between Ven and his assigned partner, after the fight they had morning battle training where his partner's Blaziken had played off of his master's anger and had accidently burned off the tips of his left wing, he can still use flying type attacks, however he can't actually fly with it, meaning his flying-type attack range is rather limited.

Hyperion gets along with Coeus very well despite his being a fire type, they have similar demeanors and their movesets compliment each other making for good partners in a double battle.

Relationship with Ven: He listens to Ven relatively easily but because just a bit distant after the accident, nothing against he just closed in on himself more.

Relationship with Kaden: He likes to walk around with Kaden on his back, and will offer some of the fruit from his neck to Kaden if he thinks Kaden could use some.

Nickname: Rhea
Gender: Female
Nature: Modest
Ability: Sand stream
Bio: She was caught after Ven left team Magma as a Pupitar who seemed to be struggling, Ven helped her grow and level, not much else to say about it.

She was named Rhea because of her automatic trust toward Kronos. their relationship is very strong.

Relationship with Ven: She fully and openly trusts Ven with all of her heart, she feels indebted to Ven for helping her.

Relationship with Kaden: she absolutely adores Kaden just as Ven does she is very protective of him.
