Doki-ki Journal Entry

Entry 02:
I'm a little tired after my boat ride, I was too nervous to get on a plane so I took the longer, water bound route. Not that I'm complaining at all, I taking long rides and the times I wasn't reading small bits of my book or sketching small doodles in my sketchbook I was looking out onto the water and just enjoying the salty air of the ocean. Funny how much I enjoy the ocean when I'm not in danger of its depths.

Entry 03:
The building was absolutely beautiful, the pathway leads to an outdoor lobby with large, structural columns supporting a roof over the receptionist area, providing enough shade and shelter for any weather, but giving you access to the pool and beautiful scenery around you. Lord knows how long I stood there enamored by the sight of the place before I decided to even check in with the receptionist. I found my room after a bit of confusion regarding the separate building that held the rooms, but when I got in to my room I was once again baffled by what was in front of me. My room was a small but plush, cozy area with a single bed adorned with blankets and pillows. The whole place was a welcoming warm mix of red's and creams with little details of black and gold for the end-stand. There is a small desk near a large open window with a nice view of the area. I'm going to like it here.

Entry 04:
I found a brochure on my end stand and gave it a quick read through, the events sound so fun but I can't help my giddiness for the sandcastle competition! I wonder if I'll be able to find black sand on the beach?

Entry 05:
I just checked out the cafe and I probably look weird scribbling in a little journal at my little table, but omg! This little place has all sorts of desserts and sandwiches, but what I'm most excited about are all the tropical inspired drinks! Smoothies, juices, teas! All of them wonderfully fruity and fresh made, oh I'm in heaven. I will probably blow all of my vacation money on fancy fruit smoothies and will I regret it? mangno.

Entry 06:
Ugh, there are judgement group symbols all over the place, this is blasphemy! It's an ISLAND, it should be run by PIRATES. I should tear them all down. I don't want to deal with those goody two-shoes.

Entry 07:
So... There were some candies at the front desk that I hadn't noticed before and I popped a couple while standing around. Frick they're so good. I may have grabbed a handful before coming back to my room but I doubt they'll last very long. I'll be sure to update my stock at every possible opportunity so I don't perish.
